Asesores Geoambientales del Caribe, EIRL referred to throughout as (ASEGEOCA) combines the experience of its Manager, Dr. Miguel Diaz, and associated network of local and international consultants. ASEGEOCA is an ideal partner to any company for work in the Dominican Republic (DR) and for Dominican entrepreneurs wishing to develop projects to international standards of performance (IFC, World Bank, EBRD).

ASEGEOCA was launched in October 2018 with the aim of assisting project development following international standards be they environmental, social or financial.

ASEGEOCA knows and understands Dominican culture. Miguel has worked in fourteen different countries in Europe, Africa and Latin America through long- and short-term assignments and has developed diverse technical capabilities and skills involving project management. This local and international experience places ASEGEOCA in prime position to assist with the implementation of international standards in a less disruptive and time-efficient manner.

The areas of expertise of ASEGEOCA are:

• Waste characterization and especially mining waste 
• Mine water quality and its management 
• Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) 
• Due diligence, research studies and project management
